¡Bienvenidos a mis clases de español! I completed a master's degree in teaching in high-school education, at the University of Barcelona and, afterward, I took a course at International House (certified by Instituto Cervantes), in teaching Spanish as a Second Language. Since then, I've had several students in one-to-one lessons and also in group lessons (when I was working for a language school in Australia). During all these years I've been creating my own materials such as flashcards, language games, and even formal exercises that I compiled in a workbook. But what I think is more important in teaching Spanish is to put myself in your shoes. Learning a language shouldn't be hard. That's why I always plan my lessons in detail, introducing a slow grade of complexity, but step by step, so that you feel comfortable, and always focusing on a communicative aim, always based on real life situations. Realizing that you are learning something meaningful everyday is what is going to kee...

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and hold three Master's degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language from the Alcalá de Henares University in Madrid. I have over ten years of experience in teaching Spanish to foreign students of various ages, nationalities and backgrounds at the International Languages School "Enforex" in Madrid. Since 2015, I impart Spanish classes to the staff in the United Nations World Tourism Organization in Madrid. I work with a communicative method which includes the teaching of grammar, speaking, writing, reading, listening comprehension as well as instruction in Spanish culture. In both my group and private classes, I encourage the exclusive use of Spanish, but if the student feels shy or stuck, I can use as much English as needed to make you feel more comfortable to advance, especially at the beginning. As I have taught students from various backgrounds –Chinese, English, Japanese, American, French, Italian, Portuguese, German, and Turkish-- I can he...
Hola, my name is José, I am from Barcelona (Spain) and I am Spanish teacher for foreigners since 2015. I have worked in different schools in Barcelona (Education First and Sprachcaffe); London (Spanish House London); in Switzerland (Sprachzentrum) and also as online teacher with students from all over the world. Even if I finished Journalism at the University, I decided to do a Spanish Training Course to become a teacher because I found that teaching is my true professional vocation. I like learning about other cultures and helping everyone who wants to learn my language and the Spanish and Latin-American worlds. My way of teaching is always based on communication. From the first day, I give the students the chance of learning while speaking and practising. I am always open to suggestions and used to adapt the classes to the student's preferences. I hope to hear soon from you, gracias!
