自己紹介

I am an English teacher and visual artist living in Spain. I have been teaching English for five years, primarily to adults, but I currently teach children, aged from 5 to 13, at an academy in Spain. I am from the UK but lived for most of the past 15 years in the US and so I am very conversant with both British and American English. Also, as I attended graduate school in both countries, I can offer advice to students who are studying English with academic goals.

My approach is lessons structured around acquiring strong practical skills - speaking and listening - which allow the student to learn organically. I encourage them to read widely and begin to explore how language is actually used, rather than how it appears in text books. Building confidence is at the core of my teaching style. Language is the key to understanding other cultures and I love being able to help people on their journey of discovery about the wider world.
