Hello my name is Tasha. I have been teaching English as a second language (ESL), Maths, Science and History to non-native speakers for 15 years internationally. I have lived and taught in Qatar, Romania, Turkey, Peru, The Falkland Islands, Egypt and 3 regions in my homeland of Trinidad & Tobago. I have a Diploma of Education speacialising in Early Childhood Education from The University of the West Indies and TESOL certification amongst others. I enjoy teaching with games, songs and fun interactive activities using English. My students enjoy many role playing activities, peer conversation learning and task based learning using props I prepare myself that are engaging and stimulating. The best part of course are the rewards! I have developed and used a range of reward systems for both my adults and kids classes, which are also exciting and fun. When I am not in the classroom I enjoy spending time with my family; swimming, travelling, playing basketball, reading and cooking. My husband is Latino and we have 3 children; 2 boys and 1 girl. I look forward to seeing you soon in my classroom to start our English learning journey.
