自己紹介

I have 24 years experience teaching ESL to international students in Seoul, Taipei, and Beijing. I am from William Shakespeare's hometown of Stratford upon Avon and I have a deep love for English as a spoken and written language. My passion is learning and teaching languages and I love to see my students progress. I have a B.A in Social Communication, have taught students of all ages, abilities, personalities, and capabilities, and I am fluent in Korean and Mandarin. I love a challenge and am a very motivational teacher. I am also a certified life coach so along with your working on your ESL, we can also work on you achieving future personal and professional goals. Job interview prep?? yes!!

I started to teach English to Korean students in 1995 in Seoul. I have been living and teaching around the world for 25 years. My fascination and admiration for languages grew from childhood. The decision to become a language teacher was effortless. I believe that my love for languages, extensive international travel background, love for people and all cultures, 5 years life coaching work experience and my 24 years of experience in teaching ESL has given me the tools to get take you to where you need to be in your journey to English fluency. I am a world traveler and I am a language learner and teacher. I also love to help students with job interview prep! Together we can achieve!

My approach to teaching is both organic and systematical. With my help, you will experience a fresh approach to language acquisition. I will teach you how to use your senses and intuition to efficiently memorize words, build on your grammar skills, and ultimately I will teach you how to love English even more than you already do. When you're enjoying the learning process, you are learning more efficiently. So our classes will always be interesting and fun but I will hold you accountable for your progress too. I will ask you to study at home, at work, at a coffee shop, and on the go. You will use your ears, your eyes, your mouth, and ultimately, you will think in English.
