自己紹介

Welcome! My name is Donna Cattanach I’m a native speaker of English from the United State specializing in Business English, English basics (grammar, spelling, pronunciation), English conversation, and IELTS test preparation. I teach both informal, Communicative English as in some emails, phone conversations and formal or Academic English as in negotiations, presentations, meetings, interviews. To attain expertise in these English skills and have fun at the same time, we may utilize and critique: videos, role play, mock meetings, mock presentations, individual, partner, and group work, games, quizzes, and worksheets. Studies may include homework and work related assignments to be reviewed online and/or homework with written reviews, corrections, and English usage summaries. I love teaching English as a Second Language, it makes me very happy to be a part of each student's success !

My approach begins with a needs analysis (or what you want to work on) and, then, an assessment of your English skills. With this information, we are able to work together to determine where we want to focus our efforts. Will it be the basics of grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, spelling, phrasal verbs, as applied to writing, speaking, listening, or reading? Or could it be a pressing business situation that needs to be mastered immediately as in a report, meeting? Whatever you want to work on, I will put together an English lesson study plan for you to sign off on.
