自己紹介

My name is Elisa Tactuk and I'm an English teacher. I'm from Orlando, Florida. This is where I carry most of my experience from. I have an extensive background in volunteer programs, from after school programs to camps, as well as classroom teaching experience. I've had the opportunity to teach multiple subjects, including Math, Art, Spanish and English to children from Pre-K to 5th grade.

I'm currently living and teaching in Phu Wiang, a small town in the northeast of Thailand. I really love what I do and feel extremely grateful to be able to share my culture to these children as they are simultaneously sharing theirs with me. I teach English and Math to 4th and 5th grade, but I'm responsible for the 5th grade class. I love to engage my students and prove to them that learning doesn't have to be boring. I'm very big with activities and incorporating active and upbeat teaching methods in my lessons. I also try to make all concepts relatable to their lives and adapt them to what they're used to seeing, hearing, and facing every day so that these new concepts really stick and they're able to have a real and true understanding of them.
