Hello! Welcome all! I am a 26 year old English teacher living in the southern United States. I have been teaching online for over four years, but I also have experience teaching in brick and mortar schools. I am a certified English as a Second or Other Language teacher. I am also a passionate language learner and I'm dabbling in French, Portuguese, Italian and Mandarin. I believe language learning is a marathon and not a sprint. You never stop learning and that's wonderful! Who wants to stop learning anyway? I try to encourage my students through this mindset.
My methodology of teaching is through meaningful conversation and cultural exchange. I strongly believe that understanding the culture of the individuals behind the language you are learning is just as important as language acquisition. In my classes you can expect conversations that focus on topics that you have an interest in and that will keep you talking.
