Hi! My name is Julia and I got my Master's degree in Teaching Spanish two years ago. I didn't stop teaching since then: I've been working for several language academies certified by Cervantes Institute and I'm also a volunteer in Red Cross Spain. When I think of how many people I've met from all around the world, and the experiences we have shared... Well, I feel speechless.
I follow a method called communicative approach ("enfoque comunicativo" in Spanish), which means that you'll learn from practice. I will teach you what's more useful for daily communication: how to introduce yourself, how to talk about your interests, to ask for information, to apologize... And then, for upper levels: How to give your opinions, how to argue, how to talk about your memories... In fact, that means that we don't focus on boring grammar exercises and I won't ask you to memorize vocabulary lists. Luckily, those times are over! You'll have to speak with me about your life, yourself and your expectations and you'll learn from our communication. All my exercises are recommended by different authors and books, following the instructions of The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, but I'm always searching for new and creative materials that come from real documents and facts of the Spanish culture: not news, arts, literature, politics, history, science...
Just tell me what you like the most and let me do my job!
