自己紹介

Bonjour ! I'm a native professional teacher of French. I have 15 years experience in different countries (France, Syria, Romania, Japan) with students of all ages, nationalities and needs. I can teach general language or specialized, pronunciation.

I studied at Stendhal University in Grenoble where I graduated in French as a foreign language in 1998 after a one year long internship in Syria. Then I taught French a year in military academies in Romania during my military duty. After a one-year world cycling tour with a friend, I worked in Grenoble: Alliance francaise of Grenoble and Lyon, Business School (GEM), in companies (Hp, Becton Dickinson, Caterpillar), CUEF (language school of Stendhal university), for Associations to fight against illiteracy. Finally, I left for Kyushu in Japan where I have lived for three years. There I teach in a private school and at university.

For me, taken as a whole, levels beginner, A1, A2, you have to get the basics and I am here to encourage you, with my supportive attitude, my patience, and interesting activities. Here, it’s very important to feel confident with the teacher to progress, so a peaceful and stimulating atmosphere is necessary.
For intermediate level, B1 and B2, of course, you have to increase your skill and « arrange » everything you learned by yourself and with a teacher. Your communication (oral, written) will become much more nuanced and effective. My role here is to help you to use fully what you already know and how to adjust it with new knowledge to reach C1.
For advance level C1 and C2, we study very fine understanding of authentic audio and text files (according to the student, we can study extracts of essay or novel). Creativity, analysis and the production of a lot of different kinds of documents must be mastered. Together, we also hunt the last « solidified » errors.
With all levels, I like a lot to use photography (magazine, newspaper, advertisement, social media, etc.) and video (movies, TV news, from a textbook, etc.).
