自己紹介
I'm a certified Polish teacher with a master's degree in Polish philology from the University of Warsaw, specializing in teaching Polish as a foreign language. I've been teaching Polish since 2016.
Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a journalist and editor for Polish newspapers. I started teaching Polish online during my parental leave, and quickly discovered that teaching is something I genuinely love.
I love sharing my knowledge about the Polish language and introducing students to Polish culture. If you enjoy well-structured, engaging and practical lessons, come and learn with me! I hate being bored in class as a student, so I do everything I can to make sure my students aren't bored either 😊
And one warning: be prepared for a lot of Polish culture and recipes! These are two of my favorite subjects when I write articles, and I think they are also a great way to learn the language.
I also believe that regular practice makes a huge difference, so yes, I give homework. A lot of it, if you want it 😉
Things you need to know:
* We will speak Polish only during our lessons.
* I work with the books "Polski krok po kroku" and the e-polish.eu platform. You will get all the necessary materials from me, including plenty of online tests.
* I also use authentic Polish materials: articles, songs, books and memes.
* We will play real Polish games. I have a huge collection for my kids and my students!
* I will invite you to online games and share advice on which apps are actually worth using to learn Polish.
* I accept a maximum of five students per school year. I deliberately keep my number of students small because I treat teaching as an extra job that allows me to keep my passion for it and have fun during our lessons.
* You will get plenty of extra materials that are genuinely useful.
* If you start from level 0 and work regularly, after six months you should be able to communicate in basic Polish.
After almost ten years of teaching, the best part for me is still seeing students make progress. Some of my students have been with me for years, and even when they reach an advanced level, we still have plenty to talk about, explore and learn together. There are always new authentic materials, interesting topics and something fun to bring to our lessons ❤️
