5 techniques to speak any language- by Sid Efromovich

Ele se chama: 5 techniques to speak any language.

1- Cometa erros.

2- Fragmente o idioma estrangeiro.

4- Conversas no banho.

Recently I was browsing youtube looking at videos about languages and ways to learn them and I found one that caught my attention right away, because the title alone is already a great attraction for anyone who loves to learn languages, just like me . His name is: 5 techniques to speak any language.
At the beginning of the video I imagined that it would be something like we always listen and read, something generic like, read a lot, listen a lot, stay in touch with the language (he talked about it in the video), but as the video went by I was able to see it was about some things that we did not really think about when we were in the process but it made a big difference in our concept of language learning, even though I did not try to apply those techniques myself, I did not think it would work, but after using them see my own learning process change and improve. Without further ado, let's talk about these 5 techniques that Mr. Sid Efromovich highlighted in his video.

1- Make mistakes. In the video he shows that during our life we are taught to do things the right way, do so, do roast, so it is wrong, so it is right. In almost every situation in life the learning of new things follows this pattern, and that is great because we want a neurosurgeon, for example, to do his job well and preferably without errors, but when it comes to languages this should not to happen! No one speaks a language super right, not even native, so let's make mistakes.

2- Scrap the foreign alphabt. The second technique reminded me of my beloved seventh grade English teacher writing the following sentence on the board: "What is your name?" And then she proposes to a student to read the sentence, but he says he does not understand the relationship between those letters and their respective sounds. More than quickly the dear teacher writes on the board the following annotation below the previous sentence: "Uat is ior neime". Like my teacher,in the video, Sid Efromovich explains that using the foreign alphabet when learning a language often disturbs more than help, because we always use the alphabet of our native language as the basis for the relationship between letters and sounds, so seeking to make these relationships between the sounds and the written form of the native language with the target language will be a valuable aid to learning.

3-Find a stickler. Finding someone who is detail will help you not to insist on mistakes, so even though you make them, you will not stop at them, but rather advance in your learning. That person can be your teacher, a friend, a language partner you find here in Verbling and so on.

4- Shower Conversations. Exactly! When we do this, something incredible happens, we simply have to build both sides of the conversation, so we learn both the question and the answer part, which greatly facilitates the development of the conversation. I particularly found the best tip on language learning, because I discovered that it was precisely this that helped me to move forward in the languages I was / are learning (I do this a long time ago). So no one can give the excuse that they can not learn some language because you have no one to practice with, go ahead and have many, many bath talks! 5- Buddy Formula. About this last learning technique, it is interesting to find a common language (that you are learning) with another person and simply talk using that language. Within this last point, something that becomes very useful for learning is finding a language partner to talk in a language where the people around you do not understand, and so you have a free way to train the language, make mistakes and still have the convenience of having a private conversation in the midst of other people. And to conclude the 5 fantastic techniques, I make mine the words of Mr. Sid Efromovich, who said: "After that we arrived at a really beautiful place, where learning foreign languages is no longer something stressful, difficult and annoying, but a world of possibilities . A world where we will have the opportunity to explore new cultures and all the different ways of living. And the most gratifying thing is that with this we learn more about ourselves. From now on, everything may sound Greek to you, but that does not mean you can not learn. "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a small step," but this is not a problem, because now you all know how to walk.
