Has anyone participated in a language immersion course abroad? (Spanish)

Hi everyone! Has anyone participated in a language immersion course abroad (not through a university?) I've seen some advertised online and they seem like great programs--a way to boost your language skills while getting the local experience. I would be happy to get recommendations. I'm hoping to study in Latin America this summer.
