If they don't guess it right away, just describe what it does. Zero shame!
- You say: "...eso que es de papel y sirve para limpiarse la boca cuando comes chocolate".
- The barista smiles and says: "ยกAh, una servilleta!"
- You: "ยกEso! Una servilleta, gracias".
Boom! You got what you wanted, you didn't switch to English, and you sounded incredibly natural.
