uphold the agreement

 Hello, everybody!

Could you please tell me all possible synonyms to the phrase "uphold the agreement" as in, "The absence of American leadership in the world will mean that the Europeans – principally the main powers of the UK, Germany and France – will have to work reluctantly with Russia and China to uphold the agreement."
