What is wâay?

Have you ever heard" wâay"?   😀 Let's  talk about "wâay". 
wâay is a gesture of Thai culture. There are three types of wâay.

              1. A wâay gesture with the tips of the thumbs placing between eyebrows while bowing, performed to show respect to Buddhist monks.

              2. A wâay gesture with the tips of the thumbs placing at the nose tip while bowing, performed to the senior people including parents and teachers. 

             3.A wâay gesture with the tips of the thumbs placing at the chin while bowing, performed to show respect to people of similar ages.
