What Makes A Great English Teacher?
9 ๅนดๅI have been teaching English in Madrid for five years and have studied several languages myself over the past 30 years. I think a good teacher:
* excites the student and listens to them to learn their abilities and goals
* encourages and guides students to higher skill levels
* shows how the four skill areas contribute to language mastery
* turns mistakes into learning experiences
Learning English is not hard. It takes time and repetition for proficiency. What do you think makes a great teacher? What are your goals? What questions do you have about English?
