Hi there! My name is Yashar and I'm a Farsi teacher! I've been teaching different languages for the past 17 years. I have a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science and Language from University of Barcelona. After teaching different students and trying various methods, I have come to believe everyone learns through their own unique way. Therefore, I would love to take the time to understand how my students learn and to use that knowledge to expedite their improvement. I am a very sociable person and my students have mostly found it easy to communicate with me which makes me a perfect teacher for discussion and conversation classes. My name is Haleh and I'm from Iran. I've been teaching Farsi since 2011 in California, both in person and online. What makes my teaching unique is my experience with working with a variety of different ages and preparing them to reach to the point that they can read Rumi poetry in Farsi. I am very passionate about my work and I help them to become familiar with the Persian culture. I use different methods, different materials, and fun activities in order to make the class more interesting. I enjoy seeing my students improve in their ability to read, write, and communicate in Farsi.
