Six years ago i began to teach portuguese language to foreign students and professionals living in Portugal. Since then i have been improving lessons according to european levels A1 to C2 and portuguese school curriculum, preparing students for exams, helping persons to be integrated in portuguese society and teaching tourists, immigrants and descendants of portuguese emmigrants all around the world. Hi, I'm Arthur, a Brazilian-Italian language teacher who currently lives in Ottawa, Canada, with my wife. I started teaching languages in 2013 during college, and since then I have been teaching children, adolescents, and adults. I am a certified Brazilian Portuguese teacher to foreigners and a heritage (near-native) speaker of Italian, which I also teach. I am particularly interested in accent reduction and pronunciation, and I often draw parallels between the languages the students already know through comparative grammar.
