Me llamo Sergio y quiero ayudarte a mejorar tu nivel de español. Trabajo como profesor de español en línea desde el año 2015 y en todo este tiempo he tenido la oportunidad de conocer a estudiantes de todo el mundo y ayudarles a conseguir sus objetivos.
Soy de Málaga, del sur de España, pero he residido muchos años fuera del país. Viví un tiempo en Alemania y en Riga, en la capital de Letonia. En ambos países he tenido que intentar aprender el idioma local, el alemán y el letón, y por eso entiendo perfectamente los problemas y las dificultades que tienen todos aquellos estudiantes que necesitan o que quieren aprender un idioma que no es el suyo. Beyond studies and experience (which you can read below), what makes a good language teacher? I have no doubts: enthusiasm, empathy, patience and sense of humor. Without these four attributes, any robot could be a better teacher than me, am I right?
I studied a master's degree at University of Barcelona in 2013 and another course at International House in 2014 to specialize as a teacher of Spanish as a second language.
My passion for teaching hasn't done anything else but increasing. I love helping people all over the world to learn the language and to understand my culture. But, above all, both the students and me have fun during the lesson. Learning a language is impossible if you don't feel at ease and happy. Laughing is our most valuable tool to learn.
