- Qualified in a 120 hour TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) course (the No.1 accredited EFL course in the UK).
- I achieved a First/Distinction in both my BA (Warwick University) and Masters Degree (Goldsmiths University).
- I work as a Literary Assistant at the prestigious Finborough Theatre London and have worked in theatre both professionally and at university level.
- I have a background of running workshops, working collaboratively, and creatively with others due to my theatre and writing based degrees.

I have studied on the 120 hour TEFL course, the No.1 accredited EFL course in the UK. This course intensively covers grammar, lesson planning, and involved professional training concerning how to conduct a successful lesson, tailored to your students' needs.

I studied on the MA Dramaturgy and Writing for Performance course at Goldsmiths University (2017, achieving a First). I have been taught copious work shop running techniques and have put them into practice through writing essay/script reports, running workshops, and scheduled meetings for peers. I have a breadth of knowledge, and techniques, concerning how to interrogate new writing, and how to push new writing in early and later development stages. I am also a co-founder of the BERG New Writing Collective. BERG is a group devoted to the creation and support of new writing. In October 2017, we set up our first 3-day new writing festival at SLAM King’s Cross.

I have an in-depth knowledge and passion for new-writing (and therefore an extremely strong grasp of the English language) as an emerging playwright, script reader and Literary Assistant (for Finborough Theatre on a voluntary basis). As a script reader, I read both solicited and unsolicited scripts and have experience of watching new writing, following up the shows with show reports for the Finborough. I am renowned as an insightful member of the Finborough readers team, with my script reports used as a model for other readers. Due to this, and my commitment, I now work as a Literary Assistant for the Finborough. I work by sourcing new writing from New York by researching plays, and contacting the playwrights and agents from throughout the United State, for their work to be passed onto the Finborough’s reading team.

I have previous experience working within a classroom setting. I spent a term working with a young adult one on one, in a college in North London, to create a performance for their final assessment. Through this I proved I could tailer my lessons to my student's needs, and could function supportively, whilst pushing the student to the best of their ability.
