Hello! Γεια σου!
My name is Stergios Efes and I am formal Modern Greek and Ancient Greek teacher. I have received my Bachelor's degree in Greek Language from University of Crete(Best University in Greece from 2012 till 2017 according to timeshighereducation.com). Currently, I am working on my Masters degree in Computational Linguistics(The scientific field that creates tools such as Google Translate and Siri in iPhone) at the University of Uppsala in Sweden.

WHAT YOU SHOULD EXPECT FROM ME(MODERN GREEK):
1) You will not be given false promises that you will learn Greek in a month, where in most cases you end up just with a random touristy vocabulary, zero grammar, zero knowledge in Greek Language structure, foreign accent.

2) Educational procedure is determined by the pace of the student. Nevertheless, mind that for most students it takes about 6 months to go from 0 to Basic user.

3) For me there isn't formal or informal teaching. There is only one way: The right way. This means that by the end of our courses you will be eligible for taking the relevant Greek state's Certification exams "ELLINOMATHEIA" if you like.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Please note that I will wait a maximum of 20 minutes for a student to arrive in the chatroom and begin the class; after that, I will disconnect from Skype and will apply to Verbling for half payment for the session. I also will not re-schedule or refund Verbling credits for classes canceled within 12 hours, so please don't ask me to do this.
