Hi, my name is Sara. I’m a native Farsi speaker and I have a bachelor’s degree in translation and a master’s degree in linguistics. I love sharing my passion for the languages I know through translation, transcription , and teaching.
My ultimate goal as a language teacher is to help you understand others and express yourself effectively in all forms of communication. To achieve this I always try to,
a. Provide natural context for language practice from the very beginning to make sure that you put everything that you learn into immediate, real use.
b. Walk you through the fundamentals of the language in clear-cut steps so that you have enough time to process new language and have a clear idea of your progress and your problem areas.
c. Link items, patterns, and ideas as we move forward to help you keep reactivating what you’ve learned previously in growingly more complex contexts.
d. Encourage you to get involved with different types of authentic materials to get a real feel of the language and culture you’re studying, expand your comfort zone and have fun.
