Hi! I am Mako from Yokohama,Japan.
After living aborad, I developed a new appreciation for Japanese culture, people, food and of course the Japanese language!
I didn't realize how many beautiful things come from Japan.
So many people have said to me “I love Japan” and I love that!
This makes me very happy.
I also wanted to learn more about my own country and language so I took courses in Japanese language, culture and history. It was so much fun to learn Japanese!
So…now I am a teacher and I want to teach you Japanese so you too will love Japan!
I know it's difficult to learn another language, but I will be your personal teacher. You can ask me about all things Japanese and as many questions as our class time allows. I love talking with people! I'm a friendly person so we will enjoy our lessons.
I was a school teacher for several years so I've learned to teach live people and not just though the computer.
I teach not only adults but children too! I have taught 8 year old kids who did not speak Japanese at all when we began.
We started from Hiragana and worked up to words and sentences.
I love teaching all levels; so of course beginners are welcome!
I have text books allowing us to crossed between book based lessons and speaking lessons.
But if you want to be fluent in Japanese, you should learn with textbook, and learn Japanese language!
I will teach you how to speak in a real conversational manner and not the formal helpful but not natural conversation method used by textbooks.
My most important goal is solving your Japanese language problems and meeting your Japanese language needs. So ask me about anything that you want to learn!
