Hi everyone, my name is Stefania and I am a native Italian speaker, born and raised near Milan. I hold a degree in foreign languages and literature with Russian and German studies as main majors. I am a so called "language freak" and I currently speak 6. I master English, French, Spanish and a little Ukrainian.
My passion and enthusiasm for the foreign languages is what motivates me in teaching them to others. I have currently taught English, Italian and German as foreign languages. I occasionally take tranlating jobs but proofread a lot. As I also like movies, I translate and write subtitles of movies in Italian.
I like to teach adults and children over 10 y.o., from a beginner level till the advanced one. I know how boring and frustrating can be sometimes learning a foreign language, that's why I developed over the years my teaching technique based on interaction, rather than reading grammar rules, and the use of multimedia and music as stimuli to read, repeat and learn. Another aspect that is very important to me is to convy my culture to my students. Learning a language is just half way to understand the culture. That's why the material I provide gives a good insight into the Italian culture and life.
