Hey everyone. My name is Cameron, and I'm from the United States, although I have been living in a couple different countries the last few years. I have a passion for learning and interacting with people from different countries and cultures, particularly through their language. This led me to teach in Tokyo and Yokohama, Japan for nearly three years, and then to teach in Medellin, Colombia for over two years. The experiences were amazing, and I have learned a lot by teaching people from different cultures and helping them with their language learning, while also learning the languages as much as possible while living in the culture.
I love to teach in a way that helps the student feel comfortable while also having fun conversing in English. It's important to practice natural and realistic situations and language aspects, so I like to let the student speak as much as possible while also helping them to use new phrases, vocabulary, and grammar more effectively to communicate with confidence.
I also love to do a variety of things, so I am open to teaching and talking about diverse topics. I love music, especially playing piano, learning languages, trying new food, watching and talking about films, and of course travelling to new places.
I look forward to seeing you soon and helping you with your English goals!
