Hi everyone! I’m Chelsea, an American born in New York City. I’m currently living in Naples, Italy. I eat pizza at least once a week. I am optimistic and enthusiastic about life, and am always curious to learn about different cultures and traditions around the world. I studied Public Health at University, and am interested in human rights and global health issues.
I’ve been teaching English for two years. I offer Cambridge and IELTS prep, conversation and grammar practice, and translation assistance from Italian to English. My lessons are personalized, which means that I create conversations and materials for your level and interests.
I use a communicative method, which means that my students speak a lot! I have an outgoing, bubbly personality and smile often. I try to make my students feel as comfortable as possible. My lessons are multi-sensory: I use all aspects of language (speaking, writing, reading, and listening) to help you improve. I like to discuss a wide variety of topics, from food to politics. The people I teach come from all different backgrounds, and I love learning about all of the different traditions and philosophies of my students.
