Hi! My name is Howard and I’m an English teacher in London. I have an MA in applied linguistics for language teaching as well as a CELTA certification for teaching English as a second language. I have been teaching English for over five years, during that time, I’ve had the pleasure of working with students from different ages and backgrounds from all around the world, both online and face-to-face.

I have always been passionate about languages. I speak Spanish and a little bit of French. Being a language learner myself made me aware of the problems and frustrations my students face when learning English, either when they are just starting out to when they are intermediate and need to keep making progress and just don’t know how to.

My one-to-one lessons will be tailored to your goals and what you want to get out of the lesson. For all my lessons I use many different resources to engage my students in every lesson they have with me. I have experience teaching a wide variety of topics in English, that range from general conversation and small talk skills to more formal areas such as business English, presentation skills, IELTS teaching preparation, etc.

My personal goal is that my students feel that every lesson was worthwhile and that they learned something new. I understand every person learns in a different way, that’s why one-to-one lessons are so great for improving your language skills.
