I am a native speaker of Spanish with a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education, Arts, Sports and Language Teaching and Vocational Training, and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Philology. I obtained a Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English as well as DELE examiner certificates of A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 levels.
I have teaching experience in different educational settings. I have taught English to students in an army logistics officers’ academy, a secondary school, an adult education centre and an official language school. I have worked as a Spanish language assistant in a French secondary school and as an online Spanish tutor.
My experience as a Spanish language assistant sparked my interest in teaching, as well as in Spanish as a Foreign Language. For this reason, I completed the Cervantes Institute’s Initial Training for Teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language, took a course for teaching candidates for the DELE A2 exam and obtained A1-, A2-, B1-, B2-, C1- and C2-level DELE (Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language) examiner certificates. I am currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree in Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language.
I love language teaching and I have a positive attitude and a passion for assisting learners. I use the communicative method. We can practice your speaking by discussing about motivating topics. We can also work together to improve your listening, reading and writing skills. Whatever your level, I would love to help you with your Spanish.
