Certified & Experienced Greek Language Tutor
Is it all Greek to you? Have you found yourself discouraged learning Greek because it is rumored to be a “difficult” language? Stop worrying. I am here to help you learn the language using fun, effective, modern and student-centered teaching techniques. My name is Athena and I am a linguist from Greece.
I have a BA degree in Greek Philology and a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics, which enabled me to deepen my knowledge in the language acquisition mechanisms and bilingualism. Also, I am certified in teaching Greek as a second/foreign language by the Centre for the Greek Language.
I have been working as a philologist and Greek language teacher since 2017 and I have tutored people of various ages and countries of origin. In my lessons, I prefer to use a communicative and student-centered approach to make the process more fun, help you learn faster, and of course, be more confident while using the language. My goal is to make sure that at the end of the course, you are fluent in speaking and writing and you feel at ease using Greek in daily communication or any other situation where the knowledge of this language is required.
