Sobre mim

Hello! I am happy that you are reading my bio. I live in beautiful Southwest Colorado where the mountains and desert meet. Although I am new to Verbling, I am NOT NEW to teaching. I am a TEFL certified ESL teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language. I have lived in France, Spain, Chile and Brazil and therefore have been a language learner myself. I speak Spanish, Portuguese and French. I know what it takes to learn a language and I am also familiar with the challenges and hurdles that a new language learner faces. Moreover, I have been a freelance teacher online for several years teaching people from all over the world. I have taught executives, college students, high school students and anyone that is genuinely interested in learning English. Whether it be for business, school or personal reasons I can help you become proficient in English and have fun while doing it.

My classes are designed for those who already have a basic understanding of the English language. I teach Upper Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. If you are a true beginner than I am not your teacher. Although I know there are many teachers on Verbling that cater to folks like you.

My lessons are catered to your needs so it is never a one-size-fits-all lesson plan. We can cover pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, writing or simply conversation. One thing that I like to do with my students is have them read an article at their skill level so that they can work on pronunciation while at the same time learn new vocabulary and grammar.

Aside from living in other countries, I have also traveled extensively throughout the world such as South America, Asia, Europe, Northern Africa and the Middle East. As you can see, I have a serious case of the wander lust and that wander lust has shaped my life and outlook of the world in so many positive ways. I absolutely love different cultures and also love to learn different languages.

I love teaching and helping others succeed!

Let’s start learning! I look forward to working with you and getting to know you in the process.

À tout à l'heure! Hasta luego! Até logo!
