*Hi all,
I am currently teaching full time in a school so have decided to take a short break from Verbling. I will return to teaching on December 14th. Until that time, keep on practising and using all the wonderful resources that are available such as HelloTalk, Tandem, Clozemaster, Lyricstraining...

About me - Originally from England, I have taught in Australian schools and universities for over 20 years. I have an in-depth knowledge of learning methodologies and am a mentor for trainee-teachers. I create a relaxed learning environment where you will feel comfortable and at ease.

Individualised learning - Lessons are uniquely planned and designed with your goals in mind, focusing on subjects which are relevant to your life. I use flipped learning, giving you access to all lesson materials prior to your class. This allows you to study and make note of ideas and terms that you wish to focus on in the upcoming session. At the end of each session you will reflect on the pluses and minuses of the class. This feedback will be taken into consideration to design your next session. You will receive feedback for each lesson, including extension activities, an individualised card deck on Verbling and revision tips.

Trial lessons - During the trial lesson we will talk about your goals, subjects which interest you and your preferred style of learning. Should you wish to continue learning with me, a course will then be designed specifically for you. The hourly fee is designed to incorporate the planning time needed for this process.

You will receive - A individualised lesson plan and and materials prior to the session and an ongoing card deck for your revision. Hopefully you will also feel more relaxed about English!

Please note a 24 hour notice period is required, so that programs can be planned for your specific needs.
