Hi, my name is Jonathan. I'm a native English speaker from South Africa, and my qualifications include a Masters in philosophy, a TEFL certificate, and a Master Trainer certificate. I want to help you reach your English learning goals, whether you're learning for work, your studies, or just for fun. My main interests are in academic and business English, and I am also happy to work with you on other areas.

I aim to provide a learning environment where you feel comfortable and confident enough to try and make sense of English, and not be scared of making mistakes. We all make mistakes, and we can all learn from them. If there's something I don't know (which will happen, because, as you know, English can be tricky), then I will find out for you by our next lesson.

My teaching style will depend on your needs and goals. You will get the opportunity to work through examples (during the lesson or on your own for homework) and practice using English in a way that is useful and relevant to you. I'll provide you with feedback, and then we will recap at a later stage to help you remember.
