Hi, I am Feiyu，you can call me Faye. I come from Beijing, China. I graduated from Sichuan University, majoring in journalism. I used to be a reporter and was also a host for a college student's radio show.

Now I am a certified international Chinese teacher and have received GPST-IMT certificate issued by the United Nations. (GPST: Global Professional & Specialist Testing) I speak standard mandarin and have achieved a professional level of the National Mandarin level test.

I also have four years of teaching experience. I have taught Chinese to a lot of students around the world, and they like my lessons and me as a teacher. It’s my goal to ensure the lessons are interesting and practical for the students.

In my class, I try not to translate everything directly but to use gestures, pictures, movie clips and games to help you understand the meaning of Chinese. so to provide my students with a full immersion learning environment, all these can make our lessons more authentic and interesting!
The way of this learning, you can have more chance to speak Chinese. For me, it is the most important part about learning.

I offer diversified courses including but not limited to Chinese songs for kid, conversation lessons for business people, Chinese culture lessons covering paper-cutting, shadow puppetry, temple fair, sichuan cuisine etc. I am also happy to offer Chinese cooking lessons upon request. I hope you will like it!
