Hey! My name's Ryan, I’m from England and I’m 27 years old. I live in England again now where I am studying my master's degree. I was living in Medellin, Colombia until recently where I was teaching English and trying to inspire everyone I could. I've been teaching for around five years in a variety of places in South America with many different people, abilities and ages. I am very patient and encouraging, which helps my students to learn very quickly.
My favourite lesson is when you talk about topics you are really passionate about. I love to hear the excitement and inspiration when you discover the words to describe something you love to share with others.
Learning should be fun and interactive, not just grammar exercises or vocabulary drills, but real life situations so you become prepared to communicate in this new world which will open up for you. I am here to support you and prepare you for this new life of fantastic opportunities.
I'm studying Environment and Development at the moment but I love to talk about loads of different topics including: travelling, culture, environmental issues, politics and many more things. I also love to listen and discuss new and interesting topics I haven't talked about before.
