Sobre mim

Hello, hello!

My name is Sofi. I'm 21 years old and still figuring things out. I grew up in Colorado and miss it terribly. I enjoy flannels, spaghetti, and spoken word poetry, and my favorite meme is UC Hicago.

My teaching style places a strong emphasis on you speaking. I think that the best way to learn is by doing, and so in my classes, students are encouraged to speak as much as possible. Regardless of your level of English, you are likely capable of saying a whole lot more than you think. I don't work too much on pronunciation except with more advanced students. You'll learn bits and pieces by listening to me and other English speakers, but it's most important that *you* have the confidence to speak.

If you're up for a challenge, our lessons will extend outside the classroom. I'll be recommending different learning platforms, youtube videos, movies, and magazine articles, so that your learning isn't limited to just a few hours a week.
