Sobre mim

Hi there! I'm Christina, a native English speaking American living in Chile. I started teaching ESl in 2010 during a semester abroad in South America. It was a job that I found that I loved and I knew I wanted to continue. After finishing my MBA in business administration in the USA, I returned to Chile to follow my dream. I managed an English institute for the last 7 years and I'm looking forward to getting back to teaching and not just admin work. I am experienced with children to adults and can teach beginners to advanced levels. I believe that learning comes from practice and immersion in a language. I enjoy using task-based learning methods which allow me to develop my lessons to meet the specific goals of students. I think flexibility is key in successfully teaching a language.
