Sobre mim

I am currently teaching both Chinese Mandarin and English in different public and private language schools in Paris. I also give adults one-to-one lessons in Chinese, English and French, either online or in-person. Here are some details of what could be expected from my classes:

🇨🇳 Mandarin:
- customise OTO (one-to-one) lessons for adults either for professional or personal interests
- teach children in group using authentic materials (Youtube / Youku videos) and interactive methods (games, songs, etc.)
- initiate Chinese calligraphy: clerical / regular / semi-cursive script隶书 / 楷书 / 行书

🇬🇧 English:
- tailor OTO business English lessons to adults (conversation, presentation, emails, etc.)
- teach teenagers general English by using authentic online ressources (Youtube videos, TedTalks, etc.)
- initiate children with songs and games

🇫🇷 French:
- prepare students for exams or future study in France
- coach for CV, cover letter and interview preparation

After spending six years working in the fashion industry, my need for a more rewarding job drove me to re-orient my career. Language has always been my passion and I used to switch from French to Chinese or English on a day-to-day basis at work. Thanks to CELTA training, I have gained hands-on experience in teaching English to foreigners of all ages and levels. My previous experience as a sales manager has also taught me how to build a good rapport with learners and carry out lesson plans with professionalism and efficiency. Having studied English and other foreign languages also offers me an insight into the difficulties that learners might encounter and need help with.

During my free time, I like travelling and meeting inspiring people from different backgrounds. I also enjoy cooking and sharing good moments with family and friends. I am a yoga teacher under training as well.
