What is the Best Teaching Advice You have ever Received?

It is really great to get to say hi to all of you, so ever since YOU have entered into the teaching industry, what advice or lesson have you received that was/is invaluable to you as a language teacher?
The best advice I have received was not be afraid to recreate myself, and to always try to learn new teaching methodologies.
So how about YOU, what advice have you received that really impacted you as an educator?
