Is it better to be outspoken and speak your mind or to keep your thoughts to yourself?
Sometimes I've got myself into hot water by speaking my mind. Either people didn't understand me, or manipulated what I said to mean something else and then hurt me with those words.
Communication requires more than just getting your point across it seems. You have to also understand your audience and the people that are listening and their motivations. So what you say can be taken in different ways depending on who is listening.
