Обо мне

Hi! I'm Zoe. I'm an Australian English teacher living and working in Granada Spain. I also lived and taught English in Colombia for a year and a half. When I am not teaching I love writing. So language really is a passion of mine!

Before teaching English in Colombia I was teaching Design history and theory at University in Brisbane, Australia, and before that I worked in childcare and kindergartens. So all up I have around ten years of experience teaching in a variety of contexts.

For me one of the most important parts about teaching is helping students to develop confidence and a belief in their own abilities. Language learning needs to be practical and you need to feel comfortable to give it a go. Aside from this, different students learn better with different methods, so a flexible and responsive approach is important.
