My name is Janie Chen. I come from Mainland China, from Hunan province. I graduated from Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) and my major is Teaching Chinese as a Second Language. I speak standard Mandarin. Teaching Chinese has been my passion and my full-time job for 8 years.
If you would like to know more about my teaching methods, teaching style or any other language questions, please send me a message. I will answer you within 12 hours.
I have been teaching the Chinese language and Chinese culture for 8 years already: 6 years in Mainland China, and 1 and a half year teaching business mandarin in Hong-Kong. Since my students are from all over the world, each student has individual learning needs and different studying hours. My students included people who only spoke English, as well as language teachers who spoke 6 or more languages. I'm experienced to make clear structured and efficient learning plans for different situations.
Since moving to Hong Kong, I have focus primarily on teaching beginner-level business-focused mandarin courses to mid-higher level managers and architects.
