Hi, my name is Nora, I am from Spain and I graduated in Linguistics. I also have a Master's Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. Even though I'm living is Spain now, I have lived in the UK for 6 years, so we'll be able to use English as a way of communicating when we have problems with the Spanish. In my lessons, we'll start using Spanish from the very first lesson, adapting, of course, the Spanish we're using to the level of the student, so you'll start making sentences pretty much without realizing! The most important thing for me is for the student to feel comfortable and relaxed during the lessons and lose the fear of speaking most people have when learning a language - which is the main problem during the learning process. To achieve this, I always make sure the student is given the necessary tools to use the language confidently and independently. Therefore, I always explain a little bit of grammar (not more than 10 or 15 minutes max) and then we use the rest of the lesson to practice what we've learnt, mainly speaking. Finally, if the student is keen on doing some homework, I can set some tasks to do at home to consolidate what's been learnt during the lesson.
