About Me

Hi I'm Janice and I am originally from the UK. I currently live in Portugal, Europe now. I lived in Seoul, South Korea for seven years as an ESL Teacher. Here I taught children and adults for six years. I gained a lot of invaluable skills. The skiIs I gained were interpersonal, leadership, confidence, time management and organisational. I specialise is Business and Conversational English and I also help with exam preparation including TOEIC, TOFEL and IELTS. I have many years experience in teaching and preparing students for these exams. I am qualified with a Bsc (HONOURS) in Sport, Health & Exercise and I am also certified in TEFL. My teaching style is informal, relaxed and current. I use a wide variety of materials to teach with including podcasts, blog posts and articles. I like to keep my classes interesting and up to date with the times. My approach or philosophy to learning is that language learning should be fun, challenging and not stressful with a desired goal or outcome to work towards.
