About Me

Hello everyone. I am Jayne and I am a teacher of English as a Second language. I am a post graduate qualified teacher with qualified teacher status. In the UK I taught Science in schools for 14 years. After moving to France 10 years ago with my family I have been tutoring English language and learning French. I have taken my own experience of language learning and language acquisition theories and used this to inform my teaching. My lessons will be customized in order for you to meet your goals quickly and efficiently. I understand that people can learn a language for a long time without progress if the language is not taught at their level and customized for their learning style. I am friendly and approachable and have the experience necessary in order to provide you with a language learning experience which will optimize the time and effort that you put into language acquisition. I have a neutral English accent and believe that talking is a great way to learn. My lessons are lively and interactive. I am happy to set assessment outside of lessons if the learner requests this.
