Hi! My name is Betty and I live in Pescara, a lively sea town on the Adriatic sea, in the region of Abruzzo. I am a native Italian speaker, proficient in English and intermediate in German. I graduated with a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Bologna and would describe myself as an open-minded cheerful person, in love with languages, cultures and... singing!
I am a very enthusiastic teacher! I've been teaching Italian and English at Inlingua School of Languages since 2017, and I currently collaborate with two more educational institutions in Abruzzo. As an Italian teacher, I teach both one-to-one and group courses to students at every level and of all ages, from absolute begginers to advaced learners (A1-C1). I have experience in CELI preparation and cultural events planning.
My teaching style focuses on communication: you will learn not only grammatical rules but also, and more importantly, how to use Italian in everyday life (school, work, bar, travel... ). We will simulate real communicative situations, learn idioms and improve all four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing). We will discover Italian culture, talk about current events and have fun together! :D
