About Me

Hey there! My name is Flávia, I am 27 years old, and I was born and raised in Brazil, São Paulo.
I currently live in Egypt, I've been here since September 2018 and I've been enjoying this country as much as I can.
I've been working as a teacher since 2011.
I'm graduated in Education and I definitely love my profession.

I like to work with PowerPoint files, articles, news, music, video, books. In short, I like the contents that call my student's attention. I like to teach in a ludic and dynamic way. I also work with games and online blackboard.

I make myself available to my student because making him or her achieve their goals is my goal.

In general, my teaching method is a mixture of The Constructivist Teaching Method and The Engage, Study, Activate method (ESA). Each person has a different type of learning, a time to learn, and as a teacher, I respect the needs of the student.
The ESA method is very interesting to make the student learn from the first class.
The student will develop speaking, writing, listening and reading in Portuguese. We will work in the Portuguese language, such as linguistic variations, accents, slang, etc. * It depends on what he/she is looking for.
As the focus will be on the student, the lessons will be prepared according to his/her need and advancement.
I send homework and audio files to my students in order to keep them practicing even when they are not online.
