My name's Chris and I'm a native English teacher from the UK.
I've now taught English for a number of years to clients of all ages and all levels. Three of those years of teaching were in Valencia, Spain where I worked with students as young as six years old up until adults well into their 70's. As I have taught such a wide age range that this means I have naturally taught a wide level range too - from A1 (Beginner) right up to C2 (Proficiency) - all of which has been that of the official Cambridge accreditation.
As I have learned a new, foreign language myself (Spanish), and am currently learning another (Italian), I completely understand the pressures that are needlessly associated with language learning and want to show you that it is unnecessary to feel daunted by the whole process. I will always be patient and sympathetic, making our sessions slightly light-hearted, yet making sure that you are undoubtedly progressing. I think it's fair to say that all of my former students can attest to that.
By the end of our first session, I will have made an assessment and have a clear idea of what we need to work on for the following weeks. I will then prepare material, with a clear directive in mind, and all the while share with you my intentions. Of course, if you were to have any suggestions, we would always make any necessary changes and incorporate anything you specifically wish to improve - if not included in my initial lesson plans.
Some of my strategies include Cambridge Workbooks and Exercises, Homework, General Conversation, Topical Conversation and Debates, Presentations, Flashcards (Tenses), Role Play, Games etc, whatever you want from me, I'm sure we can work together to fulfil it.
If you have any questions then please feel free to contact me. It would be great to hear from you.
