About Me

Are you wanting to learn English in a friendly, supportive environment? Do you want to improve your grammar or vocabulary, reading or writing? Are you preparing for a Cambridge exam? Or are you simply wanting conversation?

I am a CertTESOL and Tefl-YL qualified mother tongue speaker as well as a Cambridge speaking examiner and invigilator. I have been working in Rome for the last three years. Before that I was based in Taranto, in southern Italy and I qualified in 2015 in Austria. I have experience teaching a variety of Cambridge exams, from starters to FCE, both privately and at a language school. I believe in all my students and this has been shown in my high pass rate. I have taught people aged six to seventy, age does not make a difference.

I have worked and/or lived in over fifty countries and love exploring and learning about new cultures, whilst sharing stories.

I teach in the communicative method, meaning I like to play games and activities in a relaxed atmosphere.

In 2011 I graduated at Leeds Metropolitan University with a 2.1 BA Hons in International Tourism Management .
