About Me

I finished my degree on English Philology and completed a postgraduate course on language teaching. Since then, I have also been studying German, Italian and French languages and obtained a diploma in Spanish Sign Language. I established a small private school in the South of Spain and was teaching there for fifteen years. After that, I moved to England, obtained my Qualified Teacher Status by the Department of Education and was teaching in secondary schools for four years.

I have recently finished my master’s degree in Information Technologies and Communication in Language Education and Processing. At the moment, I am completing my web design official studies and teaching languages in a rural area in Galicia, and online.

I teach all levels of Spanish for different purposes: university students, adults who are interested in the language and linguistics, and companies whose members of the staff need to improve the language. I also prepare students to the official DELE exams. My teaching approach is based on structured lesson plans which combine grammar explanations, practice and plenty of speaking time for the student in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
