Hola! My name is Jesselya. I am an experienced Spanish language tutor with eight years of experience teaching to people from all over the world. I have a degree in Spanish as a Second Language along with solid educational foundation an passion for teaching. I am extremely enthusiastic about cultural immersion. For the past five years, I have been working as a private Spanish language tutor catering to students, travelers and corporate clients. I conduct both one-on-one and group tutoring lessons focusing on reading, writing and speaking, with a particular focus on business, medical and legal Spanish vocabulary and terminology. Both courses were designed for incoming students from Norway that were going to spend a semester or a year in Nicaragua. I worked for Montgomery College, Takoma Park campus ( Maryland, US) as a Spanish peer tutor at the Writing and Learning Center. I also worked for Language Star (It is a language academy for kids and toddlers focused on interactive learning). In my classes I use grammar-translation approach, the direct approach, reading approach , audio-lingual approach and the communicative approach. I am committed and dedicated professional with a proven ability to teach, motivate and direct students to maximum performance by encouraging a positive and energetic environment.
